In a unexpected crossover event that defies conventional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Revealed

According to the official statement, "An unusual confrontation leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The plot features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a hidden group.

The adventure centers on "strange experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an unique katana together with several artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
